Cultural Evolution

Established institutions, the dominant culture, and ourselves as individuals are woven together into a single interconnected, interdependent, self-perpetuating social system — the System. This system encourages everyone, for personal gain, to climb social ladders, assume moral superiority, and dominate those below and the natural world — or submit to those above. This selfish desire to dominate has been society’s central driving force.
